A sertéstartást komoly kihívások elé helyezi az elmúlt időszak gazdasági helyzete, amelyben jelen gazdasági körülmények között egyre fontosabb a fajlagos hatékonysági mutatók javítása. A jelen munkánkban arra fókuszáltunk, hogy milyen összefüggés van a tenyészkocák szaporodásbiológiai mutatói – úgymint született és választott malacszám – és a kocák testkondíciója között. A nagyobb elérhető malacszaporulat a potenciálisan értékesíthető hízólétszámot befolyásolja, melyen keresztül hatással vagyunk a gazdaság teljes jövedelmezőségére. A kondíciót számos külső és belső tényező is befolyásolja, de az egyik legnagyobb befolyással a takarmányozáson keresztül lehetünk rá. A kocák kondícióját a hátszalonna-vastagság egzakt mérésén keresztül határoztuk meg. Megállapítható, hogy a vizsgált telepen és genetikai háttéren a tenyészkocák 11-12 mm-es hátszalonna-vastagságnál fialták a legtöbb malacot, majd ezt 1-2 mm-rel növelve pozitív hatást kaptunk a malacszámra. A vemhességvizsgálat és a fiaztatóba hajtás időszakában az ideális hátszalonna-vastagság 14-15 mm volt. A kocák kondíciója a vemhességük alatt nem csökkenhet. Az eredményeink alapján termelőtelepeken javasoljuk a hátszalonna-vastagság protokollszerű mérését, ez alapján a takarmányadagok módosítását az elérhető malacszám maximalizálásáért. <br><br><strong>Kulcsszavak:</strong> koca, kondíció, hátszalonna-vastagság, malacszám<br><br><strong>ABSTRACT</strong><br><br>Swine breeding had always been significant importance within the animal breeding sector; it’s role remains outstanding despite decreasing production and stock numbers. The economic situation of the past period poses serious challenges to swine farming, and in these economic conditions it is increasingly important to improve the specific efficiency indicators. In our present work we focused on the interrelation of the reproductive indicators – such as number of farrowed piglets and weaned piglets – and the body condition of the sows. The higher number of piglets affects on the higher number of fattening animals, though we effect the farm overall profitability. The body condition is influenced by many external and internal factors, but one of the biggest influences we have through feeding. The condition of sows was determined by exact measurement of the backfat thickness. It can be concluded that the breeding sows on the analyzed farm and genetic background farrowed the most piglets at a backfat thickness of 11-12 mm, and then increasing this by 1-2 mm had a positive effect on the number of piglets. During the period of pregnancy test and taking the sows to the farrowing stable, the ideal backfat thickness was 14-15 mm. The condition of sows cannot decrease during their pregnancy.
