A Lónyay Menyhért Szakkollégium tavaszi programsorozatának harmadik előadója Dr. Kiss Ferenc, rektorhelyettes volt, aki "Beszélgessünk a Földről és a jövőnkről" címmel május 3-án délután tartott előadást a Nyíregyházi Egyetemen.

 

A szakember interaktív előadásában az emberek felelősségére hívta fel a hallgatóság figyelmét, nagy hangsúlyt fektetett arra, hogy bemutassa, milyen tevékenységekkel károsítjuk a Földet, hogyan és mekkora környezetkárosítást okoztak „szüleink” és „mi”, illetve milyen örökséget kapnak majd a most születő gyermekek, az előadó kitért arra is, hogy mit tehetünk azért, hogy megóvjuk a földet, hogy élhető környezetet teremtsünk.

 

Az előadás legfontosabb üzenete az volt, hogy a Föld és a természet egy hálózat, amelynek az ember része, nem pedig az ura.  Nagyon egyszerű belátni, hogy ki (mi) az ami meghatározó, ezen a bolygón, a természet hosszú távon képes meglenni az ember nélkül, az ember viszont semmire sem képes a természet nélkül. Elég arra gondolni, hogy mi történne, ha a fák nem adnának oxigént… - tette fel a nyílt kérdést Dr. Kiss Ferenc az előadás végén.

A programon résztvevő hallgatóknak és kollégáknak lehetőségük volt bekapcsolódni a gondolatmenetbe, elmondták véleményüket, meglátásaikat a téma kapcsán.
