2020. október 20-án a Tanítsunk Magyarországért program vállalati pillérének első állomásaként a prémium minőségű gumiabroncsokat előállító nyíregyházi Michelin Hungária Kft. gyár fogadta a 13 nyírkarászi kisdiákot és egyetemi mentoraikat. 

A hivatalos programon előbb Dr. Nemes Attila gyárigazgató mutatta be gyárat és termékeit, majd Szentkirályi Alexandra kormányszóvivő és Dr. György László gazdaságstratégiáért felelős államtitkár foglalta össze a TM-program jelentőségét. A Tanítsunk Magyarországért program célkitűzéseihez illeszkedve hangsúlyozták, a mentorprogram alapvető célja, hogy segítse a mentoráltakat tanulmányaik befejezésében, a vállalati pillér pedig segítse elő pályaorientációjukat. Így a tanulók belülről ismerhetik meg a munka világát, betekintést nyerhetnek a munkafolyamatokba, egyes szakmák jellegzetességeibe. Ez után került sor a gyárban a gumiabroncs előállítás fázisainak megtekintésére, amelyen a gyár munkatársai kalauzolták a tanulókat. A gyerekeknél a legnagyobb tetszést a gyártási folyamat legutolsó pontján dolgozó robot aratta, amely a már kész és kifogástalan minőségű autógumikat gyűjtötte össze. 

A program második elemeként a nyíregyházi Kölcsey Televízióban tett látogatást Államtitkár Úr, ahol már várta a nyíregyházi egyetemisták által mentorált öt vasmegyeri kisdiák. A televízió munkatársai előbb körbevezették a gyerekeket a stúdióban, bemutatták a műsorkészítés munkafázisait, többek között a híradózás rejtelmeibe vezették be őket. Végezetül a tanultak alapján az „ifjú híradósok” interjút készítettek Dr. György Lászlóval is, mely során érdeklődtek kedvenc tantárgyairól, iskolai éveiről, hobbijairól, az államtitkári munkájáról, valamit az előző heti vasmegyeri teqball átadó programon szerzett élményeiről is.
