A Magyar Testnevelési és Sporttudományi Egyetem szervezésének köszönhetően a Nyíregyházi Egyetem Testnevelés és Sporttudományi Intézet igazgatója Dr. Vajda Ildikó felkérést kapott Dr. Bánhidi Miklós egyetemi docenstől arra, hogy a Nyíregyházi Egyetem is bekapcsolódhat és képviselheti Magyarországot a Thailand International Folklore fesztiválon.

Egyetemünk két hallgatója, Popovics Bettina és Gönczy Ákos, a TE és PTE hallgatóival közösen vállalták a részvételt a fesztiválon, akik néptánccal és akrobatikus elemekkel léptek fel.

Hallgatók felkészítő oktatója Rajna Beatrix tanárnő volt.

A fesztivál 3. turnusában, 2023.11.15.-25-ig tartózkodtak Thaiföld különböző területein, ugyanis a fesztiválnak számos pontja volt. A hallgatók elmondása szerint nagyon meghatározó volt számukra a kint töltött idő, megismerkedhettek más népcsoportokkal és kultúrákkal, valamint a helyi szokásokkal. A fesztiválon résztvevők napja nem csak a fellépésből állt, hanem számos más programon vehettek részt és megismerkedtek a helyi kultúrával, helyi emberekkel. Így például nagyon emlékezetes volt számunkra a városnézés Bangkokban, vagy a vízesés-, és elefántfalu látogatás Surin tartományban.

A magyar delegáció hazahozta a fesztiválról a vándorkupát, melyet a PTE és a TE képviselői döntése alapján, teljesítményüknek köszönhetően először a Nyíregyházi Egyetem hallgatói kaptak meg.

[node:summary] <p>A Magyar Testnevelési és Sporttudományi Egyetem szervezésének köszönhetően a Nyíregyházi Egyetem Testnevelés és Sporttudományi Intézet igazgatója Dr. Vajda Ildikó felkérést kapott Dr. Bánhidi Miklós egyetemi docenstől arra, hogy a Nyíregyházi Egyetem is bekapcsolódhat és képviselheti Magyarországot a Thailand International Folklore fesztiválon.</p> <p>Egyetemünk két hallgatója, Popovics Bettina és Gönczy Ákos, a TE és PTE hallgatóival közösen vállalták a részvételt a fesztiválon, akik néptánccal és akrobatikus elemekkel léptek fel.</p>
